Five years have passed since he left his beloved hometown for the city. With no one to depend on, Mihail wanders everywhere, ultimately unable to settle down anywhere and returns home. A remote mountain village where even a cart won't take him. Upon arriving in the village, he visits the cabin of his childhood friend, shepherd Caleb, and greets him warmly. However, all he gets in return is a warning to get out of the village immediately. Mihail tries to win Caleb's heart and settle down in his long-awaited return home, but things aren't as easy as he thought...
