Kazuko Maruta has lost her purpose after failing her university entrance exam and being abandoned by her parents. ``I don't know what to do.'' With fear, her face becomes stiff and she waits for instructions. Maruta is struggling to get used to her first part-time job, and tries hard not to cause any trouble to Shinohara-san, the only person in charge of her education who cares about her, but she ends up running in vain...?
