From childhood, Sohm has always felt queasy and unsettled whenever he looks at Geon, a boy who is almost like him but somehow completely different. The two can never meet eyes without arguing, and when their parents remarry and they suddenly become family, strict rules are put in place to keep the peace. Rule One: Go to and from school together. Rule Two: Hug for thirty full seconds before entering the house. Forced into daily embraces, their unwanted closeness begins to change in ways neither expected.
